Upper and lower case file names only makes a difference on SUN, Linux and MacOSX. The intention is that all permanent data file names used by SEISAN should be in upper case (e.g. S-files, crustal model file, directories (e.g. REA) while temporary files should be in lower case (e.g. print.out). Programs are also in lower case. It should then be a bit more difficult to delete the permanent files. NOTE THAT THROUGHOUT THIS MANUAL, PROGRAM NAMES ARE GIVEN IN UPPER CASE TO INDICATE THAT THEY ARE NAMES, HOWEVER WHEN USING THE PROGRAMS, LOWER CASE MUST BE USED ON LINUX. In program MULPLT, commands are case dependent.
